Day 15 - A letter to your parents.
Dear Mommy and Daddy,
First off, I love you. Very much. And if one of you ever left me, I don’t think I could ever be the same. I’ll still live but things won’t be the same. I’m probably the most luckiest child to have not one but two parents who love me dearly and teach me daily lessons in life. Even though you guys have had many differences, especially about me, you guys still do whatever it is that parents do to make your daughters happy even without being together. I’m sorry if I have ever let any of you down. Mom, I’m sorry I never continued playing the piano, or became a ballet dancer like you once were, or that my penmanship is horrible like you say and that my grades are what you expect. And dad, I’m sorry I never continued to play soccer like grandpa, or joined JROTC like Tammy and that I can be a pretty unresponsible child. Mom,dad, I’m not perfect. And though you raised me to be the best I could be, life just hit me faster than I expected to be. When I was a child I promised that I would buy you guys houses and cars and you would always have a place to stay with me, and I’m gonna try to keep those promises. Again,I love you. Always. —Your not-so-little angel.
